The Emergency mechanisms are the responsibility of the Competent Authority within the Ministry of Energy.
The emergency mechanisms are based on the following legal provisions:
• Regulation (EU) 1938/2017 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2017 on the measures to safeguard the security of gas supply and for the abrogation of Regulation (EU) 994/2010
• GD 32/2019 for the approval of the Preventive Action Plan on the measures to safeguard the security of gas supply and of the Emergency Plan.
