The company’s management supports the creation of a culture of quality and responsibility towards the health of employees and the environment.
Therefore an Integrated Management System was implemented within Transgaz incorporating all the processes carried out within the company (quality, environment, occupational health and safety).
The company’s Integrated Management System is addressed in the light of the application within the company of the requirements of the three management systems governed by international standards:
• Quality Management ISO 9001:2008
• Environmental Management ISO 14001:2004
• Occupational health and safety Management OHSAS 18001:2007
The Integrated Management System was recertified in 2015 by The Romanian Society for Quality Assurance (RSQA).
The recertification audit was carried out by the teams of auditors of the Romanian Society for Quality Assurance (RSQA) holding the acknowledgement agreement concluded with entities in other IQNET (The International Network of Certification Bodies) member states.
The Integrated Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety System is a logical and systematic managerial approach allowing for optimum strategic and operational decisions taking into account all essential aspects leading to the efficient operation of the company, both from the point of view of quality and of the environment and safety
The ongoing process related to the transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 focuses on the recently included aspects such as:
- Understanding the organisation and the context in which it operates;
- Understanding the stakeholders’ needs and expectations;
- Actions related to risks and opportunities management;
- Change planning;
- The process approach.
TRANSGAZ undertook new responsibilities, standards and values and the certification is one of the conditions for success.
